Explore the 2026 Cadillac Optiq at Cadillac of South San Francisco

At Cadillac of South San Francisco, we offer the 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ to Colma-area drivers seeking an electric SUV with genuine Cadillac character. The LYRIQ does not disguise its battery-powered architecture beneath prosaic crossover styling. Its long wheelbase, abbreviated overhangs, illuminated black crystal grille and fluid roofline create a silhouette that appears both architectural and kinetic. The sophistication extends beyond appearance. A rear-wheel-drive LYRIQ provides an EPA-estimated range of up to 326 miles, while an available dual-motor all-wheel-drive system produces a Cadillac-estimated 515 horsepower. Standard Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance technology, a 33-inch Horizon Display and 190-kW DC fast-charging capability position the LYRIQ as an accomplished luxury vehicle first and an electric vehicle second.

Trim Levels (Exterior)

The 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ has a measured, almost monolithic stance. Slimline LED headlamps descend vertically beside the illuminated grille, while a sweeping roofline and broad rear shoulders introduce visual tension without superfluous ornamentation. Choreographed exterior lighting activates as the driver approaches or leaves, animating the black crystal shield and surrounding lamps. Illuminated exterior door handles provide another luminous detail after dark. Luxury begins the range with Galvano Chrome detailing, gloss-black finishes and an illuminated black crystal grille containing the Cadillac crest. Its 20-inch split six-spoke alloy wheels combine Diamond-Cut and Dark Android surfaces with Gloss Black aerodynamic inserts. The standard SkyGlass roof and power shade bring additional light into the passenger compartment, while an available black-painted roof creates a crisp two-tone contrast. Premium Luxury retains the cultivated Luxury exterior while adding amenities rather than altering the body’s essential design. Signature Luxury introduces more conspicuous 22-inch dynamic split-spoke reverse-rim wheels with polished and Gloss Black finishes. Available Nappa leather interiors and a Power SkyGlass roof reinforce the trim’s elevated position, although the exterior remains commendably restrained. Sport changes the visual cadence. Obsidian Chrome replaces the brighter Galvano treatment, and a dedicated Sport grille gives the front fascia a darker, more assertive countenance. Standard 20-inch Dynamic 12-spoke wheels feature Diamond-Cut and Satin Dark Android finishes, while the illuminated door handles are painted to match the body. Premium Sport adds comfort and technology while preserving the darkened exterior vocabulary. Signature Sport builds upon it with 22-inch reverse-rim wheels, illuminated front door-sill plates and additional equipment. Luxury-oriented configurations appear more jewel-like; Sport models feel tauter and less ornate. Both retain the unmistakable LYRIQ silhouette. The LYRIQ-V is lower, sharper and overtly performance-minded. Its Obsidian Chrome detailing, distinct lower fascia and reduced ride height create a more hunkered-down profile. Dark-finish 22-inch reverse-rim wheels carry laser-etched V-Series emblems and may be paired with summer-only low-profile tires. An available carbon-fiber exterior package introduces further visual acuity, while painted brake calipers disclose the upgraded Brembo hardware behind the wheels.

Engine (Power)

The 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ has no conventional engine or stepped transmission. Its propulsion comes from a 102-kWh battery and either one or two electric motors, eliminating traditional gear changes and delivering torque without waiting for engine speed to build. The standard single-motor rear-wheel-drive system produces a Cadillac-estimated 365 horsepower and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. Rear-wheel drive gives the LYRIQ an EPA-estimated range of up to 326 miles, making it the range leader within the conventional LYRIQ lineup. It suits drivers who value long-distance capability, balanced handling and effortless acceleration over maximum output. Available dual-motor all-wheel drive increases output to a Cadillac-estimated 515 horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque. With the standard 11.5-kW charging module, this configuration carries an EPA-estimated range of up to 319 miles. Models equipped with the available 19.2-kW onboard charging module receive an EPA-estimated 303-mile range. When properly equipped, the all-wheel-drive LYRIQ can tow up to 3,500 pounds. The LYRIQ-V is markedly more potent. Its performance dual-motor all-wheel-drive system develops a Cadillac-estimated 615 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque in Velocity Max. Cadillac estimates a zero-to-60-mph time of 3.3 seconds, making the 2026 LYRIQ-V the quickest Cadillac produced for its model year. Despite that output, it retains an EPA-estimated 285 miles of driving range and a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds when properly equipped. Cadillac’s complete 2026 LYRIQ powertrain and range specifications detail the output, range, charging and dimensional figures for both LYRIQ and LYRIQ-V models.

Performance

The LYRIQ’s battery architecture contributes to near-even front-to-rear weight distribution and a low center of gravity. Those characteristics help the vehicle remain settled during cornering, braking and sudden directional changes. The absence of a heavy front-mounted combustion engine also allows the chassis to distribute mass more equitably between the axles. Acceleration is immediate but not uncouth. In the rear-wheel-drive LYRIQ, the response feels progressive and silken, making it well suited to daily Bay Area travel. Dual-motor all-wheel drive adds a stronger initial surge and distributes power across all four wheels for additional traction. The system does not merely add speed; it changes the vehicle’s demeanor. A Driver Mode Selector allows owners to tailor vehicle behavior or adapt to changing road conditions. Regenerative braking captures kinetic energy during deceleration and returns it to the battery. One-Pedal Driving can be set to off, on or high according to the driver’s preferred level of regenerative response. Regen on Demand provides more granular control through a pressure-sensitive paddle mounted on the steering wheel. The LYRIQ-V takes this foundation into genuinely high-performance territory. Its five-link suspension incorporates Continuous Damping Control, while V-Mode allows customization of accelerator response, brake-pedal feel, suspension, steering and sound enhancement. Launch Control supplies repeatable acceleration from a standstill, and Competitive Mode adjusts traction-management behavior for increased agility. Brembo performance front brakes provide the LYRIQ-V with stopping hardware commensurate with its 615 horsepower. A dedicated performance steering wheel, unique V-Series front seats and model-specific sounds further distinguish the experience. The LYRIQ-V is swift, certainly, but its more significant achievement is maintaining Cadillac composure at velocities where lesser electric crossovers become disheveled.

Interior

The LYRIQ cabin has a distinctly contemporary atmosphere. A curved 33-inch Horizon Display stretches across the driver’s side of the instrument panel, rendering more than one billion colors in 9K resolution. Driver information, navigation, entertainment and vehicle settings inhabit a single visual plane instead of a collection of unrelated screens. Google built-in compatibility provides access to navigation, live traffic information, selected applications, podcasts and compatible voice functions. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is also included, along with wireless phone charging and available 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability. Over-the-air updates allow supported vehicle software to receive revisions without a traditional service visit. Radiance Lighting offers 126 colors divided between two cabin zones. It is not a simple strip of decorative illumination; light is integrated into the architecture, accentuating the dashboard, door panels and material transitions. The effect can be subdued or vivid according to the selected palette. Luxury and Sport models include Inteluxe seating with perforated inserts and Santorini Blue accents, complemented by Dark PaperWood décor. Heated front seats, driver memory, four-way power lumbar adjustment and a heated steering wheel are standard. The SkyGlass roof and power shade amplify the cabin’s breadth without requiring an intrusive roof mechanism. Premium Luxury and Premium Sport add an available 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system with Dolby Atmos, Next Generation Active Noise Cancellation, ventilated and lumbar-massaging front seating, a Rear Camera Mirror and a hands-free power liftgate. The audio system benefits from the inherent quietness of electric propulsion; low-volume details are not forced to compete with an engine or exhaust note. Signature models introduce an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display, heated rear outboard seats, tri-zone climate control and illuminated front door-sill plates. Available Oxford Stone Nappa leather is paired with Garnet accents, while Juniper Nappa leather uses Sky Cool Gray piping. Dark Ash genuine open-pore wood incorporates brilliant backlighting that filters through laser-etched patterns—a fastidious piece of cabin craftsmanship that reveals itself gradually rather than clamoring for attention. The LYRIQ seats five and provides 44.3 inches of front legroom and 39.6 inches in the rear. Cargo volume measures 28 cubic feet with the rear seats upright and expands to 60.8 cubic feet when they are folded. Its 196.7-inch overall length and 121.8-inch wheelbase create substantial interior room without advancing into full-size SUV dimensions.

Safety Features

The 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ includes a broad set of standard safety and driver-assistance technologies. Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking can respond to particular frontal and crossing collision risks. Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking extends the system’s awareness to vulnerable road users, while Reverse Automatic Braking and Rear Cross Traffic Braking address hazards detected behind the vehicle. Forward Collision Alert, Rear Pedestrian Alert, Side Bicyclist Alert and the Safety Alert Seat provide visual, audible or tactile warnings when supported systems identify a potential concern. Rear Seat Reminder helps draw attention to the rear passenger area after certain journeys. Blind Zone Steering Assist can provide corrective support when the vehicle begins moving toward a detected object in an adjacent lane. Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning addresses unintended lane movement, while Adaptive Cruise Control manages speed and following distance under supported conditions. HD Surround Vision supplies a composite exterior view to help with parking and close-quarters maneuvering. Front and Rear Park Assist provides additional proximity information, and Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist can help manage compatible parking maneuvers. IntelliBeam automatic high-beam assistance, Hitch Guidance and Hitch View expand visibility in other operating situations. A Rear Camera Mirror with Camera Washer is available on select trims. Teen Driver, Buckle to Drive and vehicle diagnostic capabilities add further monitoring. Cadillac’s complete LYRIQ safety and driver-assistance guide identifies the standard and available systems. Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance technology is standard and includes a three-year OnStar One plan. On compatible roads and under proper operating conditions, the system uses cameras, sensors, GPS data and LiDAR-scanned mapping to help maintain the LYRIQ’s lane position. Supported automatic lane changes can also be enabled. Super Cruise remains an assistance system, and the driver must stay attentive to surrounding traffic, visibility and road conditions.

Charging and Electric Range

the 2026 LYRIQ uses a Combined Charging System Type 1 port, integrating a J1772 connection with dedicated pins for DC fast charging. A GM-approved North American Charging Standard adapter, sold separately, expands access to compatible Tesla Superchargers. Charging locations and availability can be reviewed through the myCadillac mobile application and compatible in-vehicle tools. At a compatible public DC fast charger, the standard LYRIQ can accept power at up to 190 kW and add as much as 86 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes. The LYRIQ-V uses the same maximum charging rate but can add up to 75 miles in roughly 10 minutes because of its performance-oriented calibration and consumption profile. The standard 11.5-kW onboard AC charging module can add up to 31 miles of range in about an hour when used with compatible equipment. An available 19.2-kW onboard module increases that figure to as much as 50 miles per hour for the conventional LYRIQ. A properly supported LYRIQ-V can add up to 44 miles in approximately an hour through the 19.2-kW configuration. A 20-foot, 7.7-kW dual-level charging cord is included. When connected to a compatible four-prong outlet, it can add up to 22 miles of range per hour. A standard three-prong household outlet may supply up to three miles per hour, making it more appropriate for incremental replenishment than routine full charging. The LYRIQ is also Vehicle-to-Home compatible. With appropriate supporting equipment, energy stored in the battery can help power a properly equipped residence during an outage. Route-planning technology can identify compatible charging stations, estimate battery level at arrival and initiate Fast Charge Prep so that the battery approaches an advantageous temperature before a planned DC charging stop.
